According to them, “Grotesque features minimal narrative or character development and presents the audience with little more than an unrelenting and escalating scenario of humiliation, brutality and sadism. It devotes most of its running time to the sexual assault and torture of its two main characters” Do you think horror films can go too far? Take our poll below and tell us where you stand.

Here’s my take on the whole thing. Overseas they are a lot more free when it comes to sexual content. Nudity has never really been an issue in their films. In the states we are more open with graphic violence. It sounds like this movie contains both of these elements, and its making the film board uncomfortable. I think that’s the point of the film.

If you sat and watched someone get stabbed, shot, raped, or killed and didn’t flinch, you could be certifiably insane. Horror is supposed to terrify. It’s a means of putting you in check with your humanity. If you’re a normal human being, you should be disturbed, and on some occasions down right disgusted!
