It’s time for our Twilight T-Shirt giveaway! The latest trailer for Twilight’s New Moon hit theaters this weekend and in it’s honor we’re giving away some vampire inspired threads. ScreenCrave will be handing out 5 T-shirts that have the tag line, “Hello My Name Is Twilight And I Am A Dracula.”

If the slogan wreaks of sarcasm it should. To find out how you can win this Twilight T-shirt all you have to do is…

Tell us why you HATE Twilight! Below, leave a comment explaining why you absolutely despise the popular vampire franchise. This is one of the few times your hatred is welcome, and could result in you getting some free swag.

The winners will be announced August 24th!

New Moon will hit theaters this fall on November 20th. Here’s a bit of the new trailer to give you some creative inspiration for your comments.

    I hate Twilight because it filled comic con with non-nerds. For the love of god Comic Con is for nerds not teenage girls!!!!

    Twilight takes everything that makes vampires and Dracula so cool and interesting and ruins it. For example, most vampires burn up in the sunlight. With Twilight, oh no, they sparkle. Bleh

    I hate twilight because every single girl wants every single guy to be exactly like Edward which is impossible so now it is even harder to get a girlfriend. I also hate twilight because it has infected youtube like crazy and pretty much every single other website and store, I can't escape the wrath of teenage girls going crazy about Edward!

    I hate Twilight… where to start! Ok, ONE reason I hate Twilight is because it encourages girls to not have a life of their own. I mean – the main girl has no personality, gives up going to college, her family and friends, and literally LIFE to get married and have a vampire baby. Seriously, people. This is considered romantic?!

    Where do I begin? Just the fact that it is the epitome of "tweenism", how I detest that word, is enough to make me hate the film(s)/books, but it had to alter the vampire mythos to fulfill its own tacky plot. Before Twilight, I never heard of a vampire's skin turning into a diamond-like texture a la Emma Frost.

    I hate twilight because it is going to forever corrupt the minds of developing vampire aficionados. Anyone having Twilight vampires as a basis of what vampires stand for is going to be disappointed and probably overwhelmed when they discover that Twilight is the tainted watered down version of what Vampires can be. The movies of previous generations such as those based on the vampire chronicles by Anne Rice are so much more bad ass and just better overall. I believe that non retardified vampire movies of the past have been vital in the development and success of important people such as Barack Obama, Michael Phelps and Susan Boyle.

    I hate twilight because young girls are being shown a young girl that basically gets told what to do by everyone and tries to please all of them. Putting women into the stereotype of being dependent, cooking for papa (who is a man that was divorced for a while and cannot do anything in the kitchen–give me a break), not standing up for herself…. I could go on….

    I hate twilight because it caused 1000 vampire based
    movies to go into production. How many vampire movies do we need one, two at tops but now I can't blink without seeing a vampire in a trailer.

    I sparkle in the sunlight too. Twilight has ruined it for me.

    Also Edward would've been the name of any possible son/orphan I trained to be a vampire hunter… now…? Goddamnit, I don't know.
