Full Length New Moon Trailer!
It was bound to happen. This past Friday, the new trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon hit theaters in front of the Vanessa Hudgens flick Bandslam. All day fans have been drooling over their computers to see it hit the internet, and it finally has. The trailer focuses on the relationship between Bella and Jacob, with a few cameos by Edward. It’s an interesting format, because the video features Taylor Lautner giving commentary during the whole thing. You can see it for yourself below.
Did Jacob just have an “Incredible Hulk” moment at the end of the trailer? I like the fact that we got to see Dakota Fanning as Jane in Italy. I’m not a fan of their “red eye” appearance though. It doesn’t look professional. It literally looks like someone took a picture of her and Robert Pattinson and the glare caught them. I hope they fix that before the movie comes out.
I do think it’s a little soap opera-esque that Jacob is topless in 90 percent of his scenes, but I guess their trying to please that female fan base. Obviously, New Moon is more about him and Bella, so how do the fans on Team Edward feel about this movie?

If you had read the book, you would understand why he is topless. it is because when he changed into a wolf he can't carry around the freaking shirt.

Bruce Banner aka The Hulk had the same problem but he wasn't THAT naked. Since you read the book, would you mind enlightening me to his situation? Any info would be greatly appreciated.:)

okay in the book, when he changes into a wolf, his clothes don't just magically disappear. He has to take them off first and tie them to his leg with a tie, and he doesn't want to carry a full outfit, so he only carries pants.

Lautner's annoying voice has stopped me watching the trailer beyond a couple of times. I normally watch anything twilight related over and over. I find Lautner incredibly irritating. His shirtless scenes are a bit of a joke. Silly.

Jacob is topless a lot in the book..so they are obviously staying true to the book…not sure about the bit of Edward towards the end though…it looks like he has red eyes…obviously this is of him when Jane is putting her "power" on him and he is in pain????

Jacob is minimally dressed in the books too, so I guess in context it is completely normal that he is often shirtless.
I love the trailer but I don’t see why Taylor is narrating it. The fans all know what is happening without the running commentary and people who haven’t seen it will figure it out if they watch it. I’m a little unhappy about that but otherwise I am so Excited!!

well…. NEW MOON novel is more abt JACOB & BELLS…. less of EDWARD… so if d story goes flow wif d book… it makes viewers cant wait for more EDWARD is the movie ECLIPSE….

remember that Edward has been there for a while so he has starved himself so his eyes maybe red due to his need for blood. He does still have thirst moments, I think I will have to read it again but weren't the eyes red because of their human diet?

Question: Why is Jacob kissing Bella in New Moon?! (picture on top and snippet in trailer). That only happens in Eclipse. If the people who are making the movie actually took the time to read the book they would realize this. They would also realize that Edward’s eyes go black when he is thirsty in Italy. Red eyes are for vampires who drink human blood. Am excited to see the movie and apprehensive about how badly they are going to scr*w it up (sigh).

Actually it's not just because he can't carry around his shirt. Once Jacob turns into a wolf, his body temp becomes much higher than a humans even when he is in human form. So he's always burning up hot and rarely wears clothes in the books also. It's the exact opposite of Edward who's body is always cold.

I am a little irritated by the fact that Bella and Jacob look like they either kiss or almost kiss. This doesn't happen in New Moon. Clearly Summit and the director ignored the book material in order to heighten the triangle more when it was really one-sided in New Moon.

Sorry to tell you, but he does attempt to kiss her in New Moon. Edward calls and interrupts it though, so the kiss doesn't actually happen.

This trailer is amazing, but i cannot understand bellas mumbling to jacob, was she saying "Tell me im beautiful" ? or "Your starting to get beutiful?" idk i just cant understand it … And i have paused on the part where they show edward, and no his eyes arent red. But they are glassy i guess is the right word, and maybe because they only flick him on for about a second, you still have the image of janes red eyes in your head that they look redish to you, but they arent. I do think that jacob's voice is a little child like, and it rlly annoys me how white his teeht are because his skins dark so it looks a lot whiter. And according to the book, you are both correct about jacob, but also you forgot to count in how…. showoffy? i guess, idk how to explain jacob, its not concieted but i guess showoffy he is. he trys to impress bella and as in the conversation him and edward had in eclipse in the tent on the night before the fight, jacob did say that he had a plan to win her heart, so that could have been part of it, but im just implying that .

I think Bella said, "You're sort of beautiful." He follows up and says something along the lines of ,"Now, I know you hit your head." They showed that full scene at Comic-Con. Hope this helps.:)
