First Inception Set Photos

Some photos have been released from the set of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming thriller, Inception. The plot details of the film are being kept tightly under wraps, but it’s described as “a sci-fi action film that’s set within the architecture of the mind.” One thing that’s not being kept vague is the film’s huge cast. Inception features Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine, and the list goes on.

Over at /Film, they have a brief set report describing what was happening during the scenes.

DiCaprio and Page argue, and she violently shoves him, knocking him to the ground. Other shots focused on the many extras, “standing as still as statues, as though they were frozen in time.” The article reports that DiCaprio and Page worked in the morning and that Cotillard arrived on set just before the other two actors wrapped, but does not describe her scene.

The drama! On an interesting side note, these three actors are all Academy Award nominees or winners. Nolan really knows how to pick his talent.
