John Hughes has unfortunately and unexpectedly passed away this morning. At the age of 59 he’s left behind a legacy that literally shaped a generation. This man owned the eighties, and worked with some of the top stars of today. Some of his most popular films included Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Weird Science, and my personal favorite The Breakfast Club! Let’s take a look at some of Hughes’ biggest hits….

He also wrote and produced both Pretty in Pink and the acclaimed box office smash Home Alone, from 1986 and 1990 respectively.
