James Stewart was outstanding in his role of Elwood, and it is hard to imagine it being played as well by anyone else. If it came down to Tom Hanks and Will Smith; Hanks would fit the role more suitably. All we can do now is cross our fingers and hope that Spielberg keeps the true heart and soul of "Harvey".
