ridiculous move-Ron Howard is fantastic, but it's obvious HE is the only reason his daughter was cast. They should not have taken this away from the actress who has established and become recognizable as this character.

tldnr...

Probably the worst books I have read... ever. Yes, I read them all. It was the sexually budding 11 year old girl in me.

Krystal - I'm a huge Twilight fan and I'm frustrated by Summit's decision to replace Lefevre. The third is a pivotal book/film for her character, Victoria, and it's absurd for her to be replaced at this point. Howard is a fine actress and I'm very impressed by her work, but Lefevre should be allowed to complete the role she brought to life on screen. She did an amazing job in the first film and it doesn't feel right for her to depart now. My suspicion is that b/c Eclipse is such an important book/film for the character, Victoria, Summit's decision was not one made based on a 10-day shooting overlap, but rather they wanted a bigger name to handle Victoria's larger and more central role in Eclipse. I find this frustrating given that the director has already been replaced, and certain key changes needed to be made in the original movie due to overly-aggressive shoot schedules that threatened the integrity of the story and the actors' performances. The more changes Summit makes to the franchise will only continue to distract from the excitement surrounding the series. It's also insulting to the fans, who frankly have made this into a winning franchise, even during an economic crisis. Perhaps they can stop running away with the series and focus in on what the fans would want and that is no further changes and scripts that serve to honor the original book series as closely as possible.
