I have read The Warded Man and The Desert Spear (second book) and they are by far the best books I've ever read. The story as serious potential to be a great movie. It Anderson can stick to the script, it may very well be as good and LOTR. One can argue that it could surpass it by pulling a wider demographic.

Considering the quality of the books so far, I'd say it has potential to be a very good movie trilogy, but having never seen anything by Anderson, I have no opinion there. All I can say, is that if he screws up this series, he's going to have a lot of pissed off fans, starting with me

Is it a crime to have a different opinion than someone else? If I or anyone else don't like Anderson's work, so be it. That doesn't mean that you can't. And yeah, I've actually seen all the Resident Evil movies, and I'm a big fan of the games, which is why I dislike him. Also Mortal Kombat which he also ruined. But then again, that's MY opinion and I have a right to it. If you think the first 2 were great that's good for you.

Have any of you idiots actually read the book? It would make an amazing video, of course I myself would have chosen a different director but the story has the potential to be the next LOTR epic and Anderson isn' completely hopeless. The question is how do YOU get work Clark if you have to rely on someone else's word to see what Anderson is most known for. Do you actually have an opinion on the resident evil franchise or are you just copying the words of other crtitics? The first two were great, the third was just over-ambitious.

Sorry, but i think you are both wrong. Paul Anderson can make an entertaining film, and Jeremy Bolt is a very good producer. Why dont we all shut up until the first one is made and then judge.

Girl, Paul W.S. Anderson needs to sit his behind down. Comparing anything that he does to Peter Jackson's work makes my mouth open wide in laughter. You KNOW how I felt about the Resident Evil movies! Milla Jovovich glowering under lowered brows like she does in EVERY movie that she's EVER in! How does he keep getting work! And on THIS level. SMH.
