Michael Sheen Cast as Tron Villain
Word on the street has had Michael Sheen pegged as the villain in the upcoming Tron sequel for months, and Disney has finally sent out confirmation. According to IGN, the British actor has officially signed on to star as the bad guy in Tron Legacy opposite Jeff Bridges and Garrett Hedlund. Both Sheen and Disney broke the casting news via their Twitter accounts (which I find weird), and now it’s all over the net!
Back in May, Sheen took to his Twitter once again to broadcast that he was up for a role in a film where he wouldn’t be playing a human character. Many believe the Tron villain was that character. No name or description has been released , but I’m sure that info will drop sooner than later. Technically, the actor has already made his mark portraying non-human characters. He’s a werewolf in Underworld, a vampire in Twilight Saga: New Moon, and the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.
