Coraline DVD Giveaway

We’re giving away some free stuff this week. Coraline comes out on Blu-ray and DVD next week and on that note we are giving away 2 DVDs. From the same director that brought you The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach comes Coraline, the story of an adventurous girl that finds another world with frightening secrets.
Check out what you have to do score one…
In the film, Coraline travels to a world which looks just like hers only better and everything she could ever want is in her “other” world. All you have to do to win is tell us what you would want to find in your “other world”. Chocolate cake instead of rice cakes? A BMW instead of a Honda? The two best reasons will win you one of the two Coraline DVDs!
The winners will be announced next Monday, July 20th. So lay down you’re reasons and live me some good ones because Coraline is worth more than a cheap line.

In my other world coffee would taste as good as it smells and only songs I like would get stuck in my head. There would be no "reality" television, but there would be a second season of Firefly.

In my world, politicians would be envied instead of hated, books would be as sought after as movies, and blogs and podcasts would be as popular as "serious" media and radio shows.

Globally:
There would be peace, no more famine, disease, and financial woes to worry about, and superheros would exist..
Personally:
I would live in a mansion with its own movie theater and gaming room, containing all my favorite movies and video games respectively. There would also be a television room which would have a T.V. channel for every television show that ever existed. There would be a group of personal chefs available at all hours ready to whip up whatever I would want at the moment. My garage would contain famous movie/T.V. cars such as Back to the Future's Delorean, the Batmobile from Burton's Batman, as well as the Tumbler/Batpod from Nolan's Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, and Homer Simpson's self-designed car The Homer. And last but not least, Disneyland/Disney world, Six Flags, Universal Studios theme park, Legoland, and Knott's Berry farm, would literally be in my own backyard.

In MY other world, my other neighbors would be the cleanest and neatest people on earth. My other brother wouldn’t be my evil twin, but my nice twin who does good things for me. My other sister would always obey me, and never speak again. My other father would give me whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted it. And finally my other mother……well, she’d be a bit on the always caring side. Maybe if she cared a little too much…

In my other world, Coraline would be my kid sister. She’s cool and quirky and annoying, but in a cute way, not in the way my sister is annoying! (Oh I hope she doesn’t see this
And I would’ve heard about the Coraline movie before it left 3D. Somehow I hadn’t heard about it until it was in dollar theaters, and I saw it 4 times. But I read all these glowing reviews about how the 3D makes this movie even more amazing, and I lament not being able to experience this.
I know the DVD will have a 3D option too, so I’m glad I’ll be able to see at least part of the magnificence. I like keeping my real eyes and soul in this reality, and to be able to imagine what it’s like in others. Finally, I hope to win this contest in this reality too!

In my other world, my education would be fully subsidized, and I would be able to spend more money on phenomenal works of art like Coraline. In fact, in my other world, I'd probably have the amazing amount of talent it took to make Coraline! Either way, I think I'd be happy.

In my world, I would live in a secret and most luscious land filled with fragrant flowers, clear blue waters, white sands and surrounded by fresh fruits and only my closest loved ones would live there. I would live in a bungalow that is over the water would have a underwater clear tunnel (that is attached inside my bungaIow) that would lead me to the beach. I would have mystical creatures like a unicorn live in my world. There would always be music playing in the air that is sensual and soothing. I would love to have the sun shine daily with no rain and I would have an endless supply of books and movies to keep me entertained.

In my other world all television would be via the internet. That way I wouldn't have missed out on anything by not making the switch to digital. Yes, I'm one of the very few who didn't switch over, but hey, that just means more DVD time so it's not a huge loss!
Also, in my other world more films would be made in stop motion rather than CGI. As far as animation goes, I find nothing is more visually appealing than a good stop motion animation. Coraline is a prime example of how great stop motion looks and how far it's come since the era of claymation characters like Gumby (although Gumby also looked great).
Oh and DVDs would grow on trees!

Hmmm…in the perfect other world, all people would be dogs, and the country would be much better run place. And leaders would be chosen by the "sniffing method" instead of elections, which would result in much more competent leadership. Food would be free and available on every street corner in big bowls (with plenty of water).
And Danny Elfman would do the soundtrack, playing over loudspeakers

In my other world everything would be beautiful. Ruffled dresses in colours such as pastel pink, mint, lavenders and blue are worn by women with beautiful curled hair with lovely pearls and shoes and hanging from their right hand is a beautiful elegant parasol that hides there fair skin from the harmful sun. Off course one cannot forget the surrounding of editable and delicious pastries in all shapes and sweetness and the four post bed with satin pillow the young ladies rest . And although the world seems complete it is not. Not without the lady soulmate, a prince. wearing a beautiful blouse with embroidery around the collar a beautiful coat with matching vest he takes her left hand gently with his right and escort her into the sunlight to where ever romance may take them
