Release Date Set for Resident Evil: Afterlife

Are there any Resident Evil fans out there? Well here is a bit of news that might make you happy; the popular video game/movie franchise is getting another addition! Writer, Paul W.S. Anderson, revealed last year that he was, in fact, working on a script for the movie and there is a tentative release date. The fourth installation, titled Resident Evil: Afterlife, is set for September 17, 2010. There isn’t much information on what will happen, other than it will be set in Tokyo, Japan.
Normally, I am not a huge fan of either video game or zombie movies, but the Resident Evil movies are certainly an exception. These movies are seriously entertaining popcorn movies.

While I do agree they are entertaining popcorn movies, I only can see that being the case if you're not a fan of the series. The movies go further and further away from what the games are, and while I love Mila I dislike her made up character. Though I would like to add that I am excited with the possibility that Wesker could be in this next installment, he was at the end of the 3rd movie and he rocks.
