The Informant Trailer
By Krystal Clark
The trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant has been released and it features Matt Damon looking like a 1970′s porn star. But this isn’t that type of movie, it’s what you could call a “corporate comedy”, which happens to be based on actual events. Damon stars as Mark Whiticre, an FBI informant who helped gather incriminating evident against the grain processing company, Archer Daniels Midland back in the early nineties.
Check out the trailer after the jump.
As you may have noticed the cast of The Informant also includes Scott Bakula and Tony Hale (Arrested Development). Two actors who I’m happy to see getting some work. Matt Damon looks pretty watchable in this, his character seems entertaining and not annoying. It’s good to see something where Hale isn’t portraying the bumbling idiot for a change.
The Informant hits theaters on October 9.
