Twilight’s Eclipse Begins Filming in August!

It feels as if New Moon just wrapped, but filming for the third installment of The Twilight Saga is underway. Eclipse is the next film in the vampire series and it’s scheduled to be released on June 30, 2010. According to ComingSoon the cast will have to reunite once again on August 17th of this year for a shoot that will last until October 31st in Vancouver. Isn’t that convenient?
Eclipse will be directed by David Slade, who previously directed the horror film, 30 Days of Night. Here is a brief description of what you can expect from the next film below:
In the third installment of the franchise, coming to theaters on June 30, 2010, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
When I read over the quote, “With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life,” I realized why I have never seen Twilight. I am obviously not a part of their target demographic, and I’m definitely OK with that.
New Moon will hit theaters this year on November 20, and it’s directed by Chris Weitz.
What do you think about Eclipse being filmed so closely after New Moon?

The "Most important decision of her life" Has nothing to do with High School!! I am not (as you implied) a High school or Pre-teen adolescent. I am a 32 year old Mother of 3 And these books are AMAZING. Why don't you take me up on a Dare & read them all! Then you will see what the big deal is all about. -The first movie stunk in comparison to the books. Any Book is ALWAYS better than the movie!

I'm a 27 year old male and I love this movie. I was making fun of my friend who wanted to watch it. Because I was bored that day I finally gave in and went to watch it with said friend who is male also. I completely loved it and was really surprised how good it was. I will not be reading the books though because i hear there are chapters dedicated to describing Edward's body. Now that is something to cringe about for a guy.
