American werewolf in London American Werewolf in London Remake?!

Nothing is sacred. Next we’re going to hear that they’re remaking Gone with the Wind with vampires and pirates. In fact I might prefer that to what is actually happening. According the to BloodyDisgusting website, the Weinstein Brothers are remaking writer/director John Landis’ An American Werewolf  in London (please hold all complaints until you hear more).

You may now commence throwing things at your screen and leaving angry comments.

The news that a cash-strapped Landis has sold rights to the Weinstein’s (who have been reported to be equally cash-strapped, ironically) will probably cue the question that has cropped up a lot lately: is nothing sacred? The perpetual answer is: not in Hollywood, no. And that’s OK, because we’ll always have the original.

So, what do you think of the impending remake? Yay or nay?
