Katherine Heigl is obviously going to ride this romance-movie train until the wheels fall off. The actress who became the go-to-gal for romantic comedies after her 2007 role in Judd Apatow‘s Knocked Up is signing on for yet another love story. According to Variety, the actress will star in Life as We Know it, a Warner Bros production under the direction Greg Berlanti.
Life as We Know it will follow two single adults who’s lives are dramatically changed when their mutual best friends are killed in an accident and name them as the guardians of their daughter. Paul Brooks and Barry Josephson are on board as producers, along with Heigl and her mother Nancy. The actress can next be seen in the romantic comedy The Ugly Truth, alongside Gerard Butler.
I’m pretty sure I won’t see this movie. With the exception of Knocked Up I haven’t had a desire to see any movie she’s been in. I’ve never watched her on Greys Anatomy, but I was a fan of her on the TV series, Roswell. I heard 27 Dresses was terrible, and The Ugly Truth doesn’t look much better. Perhaps one day she’ll star in something that I’ll be interested in, but today isn’t that day.
