Does the above poster make you wonder about all the relationship angst that will take place in the Twilight sequel, New Moon? Well paging all members of Team Edward (Robert Pattinson), this will not be the film for you! Die hard fans already know about the problems that Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward will face in the follow up to last year’s hit, so the latest movie tie-in should be no surprise. Stephenie Meyer’s second book has been given a makeover, and now features three of the film’s stars. Over at EW, they’ve posted the cover image of the book, and it’s all about Team Jacob (Taylor Lautner).

Check out the cover after the jump.

As you can see, an exclusive poster is waiting for you inside the book. I’ve never heard of a decent piece of literature known for having a glossy poster on the inside, but whatever. Bella doesn’t look so torn in this photo, just lost. All of the posters promoting this film look so low-budget to me. I’ve seen some fan-made images that look a lot better. I’m not personally impressed, but what do you think?

What do you think of the cover for the New Moon tie-in novel?

I'm not fond of the new cover. Bella and Jacob look good, but who the heck decided that Edward needed guyliner? It doesn't even look like Robert Pattinson. And the guys behind Jacob? One's wandering around on the cliffs naked, the other looks like one of HG Wells' Morlocks. Or Gollum. Preciousssss….

[...] there are the original books, then the first film drops, then they decide to reprint the books with different covers featuring the film actors, and now they give you the same novel again, but with pictures?! [...]
