I think their is less than no chemistry between the two major stars. I used to love Sandra and her suttle charming ways but this movie is the bigest joke I have seen her in. Lets go back to the Lake House, that movie had heart!!

Just saw the movie tonight and loved it. As far as the "cliches galore" thing goes, there's always a person who's seeing something for the first time. Not all of us make a career or a life out of seeing every movie since Edison's "The Great Train Robbery." So enough with expecting every movie to bring something that YOU'VE never seen before.

Lame movie, great review.
Only good acting by the ever charming Bullock and Reynolds made this cliched script bearable.

a good movie. i don't usually give permission to my wife and daughters to watch western movies, but this one has good message. many white women give up their natural duties to family and religion for western materialistic philosophy. like this movie, they may have money but they are not happy and empty people. if they follow their asian sisters, the west may not be so broken social today but its not their fault. the men is to blame too for not teaching their women the basic roles of men and women. at least the man in this movie realise that at the end. hope more good movies like this.

I think critics are ridiculously harsh on this film. I went to watch it with a group of friends (of all sexes and ages). All of us thoroughly enjoyed the film. It was light relief and much fun. I think it did add a new twist on the chick flick scene as the comedy was restored in romantic comedy. Obviously being a fourteen year old girl i was bound to appreciate such a film. But two of my male companions who watched also shyly admitted to how much they enjoyed the film. One even said he'd buy it on dvd! Therefore i really would ignore all reviews of this film as it is indeed a very good watch!!!

I thought it as a really good movie, reminded me a lot of "what happens in vegas" with only minor plot differences, however, I still thouroughly enjoyed the move throughout. There was a lot of comedy, most of which was actually funny. Overall I think it was good!
