Here it comes, the news that you probably didn’t want to hear: Indiana Jones 5 may be on its way. We all know that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull wasn’t what we all expected or anywhere near as great as the 80′s franchise, but according to Shia LaBeouf, Steven Spielberg will give Indiana Jones another sequel.

Take a look at what LeBeouf said in an interview with the BBC:

“Steven Spielberg, I think is a real key asset to a blockbuster. He invented ‘em, so I think the originator is always a good place to start.Steven [Spielberg] just said that he cracked a story on [Indiana Jones 5] before I left and I think they’re gearing that up.”

He didn’t say much else about the film, but we’re guessing that whether you want it or not, Indiana Jones 5 is on its way! RUNNN!

All you can really do is hope that the film is better than the last one because Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which stole a piece of my childhood! They are going to have to do some serious marketing to get back into that theater with the scars of the last film still fresh in my mind.

The originals films were classics and they should have left well-enough alone, to go back to it again just seems crazy.

So far, Harrison Ford has kept his mouth shut, and hasn’t said anything about a sequel, we all know he has his price (I think any of us would work for 60 days for $60 million, lets be honest). And it looks like the new star Shia LaBeouf (who recently turned down another action film for a role in which he could show off his acting) is more than game to jump back into the series.
