Weekend Box Office: The Hangover that Never Ends

This is one of those Hangover‘s that just won’t leave. Last week, Up and The Hangover battled it out for #1, this week, there are no questions about it, The Hangover is out winner. It’s obvious that what people want right now is a good comedy, whether it be sweet and charming, or overtly disgusting.
Apparently there is a movie-god because The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 only made $25 million its opening weekend. It seems like sub-par action films have been getting a massive kick to the balls lately. Hopefully this will effect the action being churned out in years to come.

The only thing I’m sad about is that Moon didn’t make it on the list. Even though I knew it wouldn’t make it, I was still hoping.
