The Funhouse is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. I absolutely adore it. However, I'm not so sure about Roth remaking it. Sure, it'd be great so see this movie redone and on the big screen again. But Hostel was terrible. It wasn't scary. It was gory, dumb, and over the top. Roth said he wants to "reuse the bodies by making them freaks in the freak museum, sew their eyes shut, waxworks"...um Rob Zombie anyone? House of 1000 Corpses was already done. This isn't a unique idea and will take away from the film's simple greatness. That's just it: The Funhouse is a simple, brilliant horror movie.
