First New Moon Trailer To Air On MTV Movie Awards

MTV and the Twilight movies go together like peanut butter and jelly. It has been announced that the first official trailer of Twilight: New Moon will air at the MTV Movie Awards and as an added bonus, the stars of the film will be presenting the trailer at the award ceremony.

It was previously announced that there would be new footage aired at the MTV Movie Awards. Now they took it a bit further.

This is a brilliant move for both parties. First, the ratings will increase for the Movie Awards because the Twilight fans will be tuning in to watch it. The Twilight: New Moon fans do vary in age, but many teenagers are a fan of the series. Hence, the reason why MTV is such a good fit. The studio wins because the series has an insanely loyal fan base, and the fans cannot wait for this film to hit theaters. They are building up anticipation for the film, and doing a damn good job. Kudos to the marketing teams involved.

The show starts at 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 31. The trailer should be on the Internet by 10:45 pm that night.
