Oh no Kevin James is making another comedy, and I use the word comedy loosely. According to RopeofSilicon, James will star in a new film entitled, The Zookeeper. After the unexplained success of Paul Blart: Mall Cop, the actor will star in his latest project alongside Rosario Dawson and Leslie Bibb. The premise for it is pretty ridiculous, but I would expect nothing more from the guy.

The Zookeeper is a romantic comedy that will obviously take place in a zoo. James will star as the title character, who learns “the facts of love” from the various animals in his care. He will use their advice to help him score the girl of his dreams, whom I’m assuming will either be Bibb or Dawson. The Zookeeper will be directed by Frank Coraci, from a script written by Jay Scherick and David Ronn, Kevin James, Rock Reuben and Nick Bakay. Why does it take so many people to write this movie? This isn’t Shakespeare.

I hope all of you Paul Blart fiends are happy now. We’re going to have a steady influx of the Kevin James brand of comedy for years to come. The Zookeeper sounds like a horrible mix of Madagascar and Night at the Museum. The only difference is that those movies were actually funny.
