First Official New Moon Poster

Edward and Bella fans everywhere must be ready to pee their pants because the first official poster for the Twilight sequel, New Moon has been leaked onto the net. The poster for Twilight was kind of a mixture between Romeo & Juliet meets emo goth. New Moon has the addition of Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and it’s pretty much the same although it’s filled with a little more angst.

In the film Bella must deal with the abrupt departure of her vampire lover, Edward. In his absence she develops a close friendship with Jacob, a werewolf, and one of the long time enemies of the vamps.

I just don’t get the appeal of Robert Pattinson, but you youngster’s seem to love the guy. It looks as if Lautner is trying to emphasize the fact that he’s beefed up for the role, and has a serious attitude. The first official footage from the film is supposed to be released on MTV very soon. So, if you’re a die hard fan you might want to keep your eyes out for that one.
