I've been a die-hard fan of his for years and unless he loses his integrity, that's not going to stop. Judging from this interview, it sounds like he was fully aware of the "glossy" Hollywood feel of the Spider-man films, and that he allowed himself to be temporarily lured away from his truest self as an entertainer, an artist, and a filmmaker. I'm very excited to hear he's re-discovered his roots, so to speak, and that he's going to channel that energy and spirit into "Spider-man 4". Ghost House hasn't produced anything of great value that I've seen, so far, but I am VERY excited about "Drag Me To Hell" (haven't had a chance to see it yet), and I really hope Raimi never loses the drive to do horror films. There is nobody else making horror the way he does. It's truly his own. As long as he and Peter Jackson continue to make horror, the genre will survive this awful flood of mainstream torture porn and hopefully come to a new era of more sophisticated slaughter. :) Whatever Mr Raimi does, I'm on board.
