It’s been a while since I’ve heard or seen anything regarding Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming feature, The Expendables. We previously brought you some behind the scenes footage showing the director/actor on set and interacting with fans. Over at AICN, they’ve debuted a new photo from the film that shows Sly in a very dangerous predicament that only a seasoned action star can escape from. It involves death defying heights and water, can you figure out what it is?

He looks like he’s in some serious trouble here, but he’s been through worse. He’s Rocky plus Rambo, that’s a tough combo to beat. The Expendables is currently filming in Brazil, and is about a group of mercenaries who travel to South America to overthrow a ruthless dictator. The film co-stars Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Steve “Stone Cold” Austin, Eric Roberts, Dolph Lundgren, and anyone else who’s starred in an action movie during the eighties or nineties.

    The Terminator franchise is what got me interested in the movies in the first place. The first was a suspenseful cyberpunk thriller, and the second became my favorite movie of all time. The third fell short of intelligence but still solid nonetheless, and the TV series was a good addition to the franchise. Nearing the end of May, the fourth and latest film addition of the beloved sci-fi franchise will open, and viewers are in for a sheer summer spectacle.
