I’m not sure how I feel about this trailer. The thing that I liked about the teaser trailer and the Superbowl trailer, was that they were a little off-beat and odd. It didn’t look like just any comedy, but a chance for Will Ferrell to shine with his own brand of humor (like in Anchorman!). This trailer, feels more like they’re trying to appeal to the young-teen/mainstream market. It reveals too many scenes, has too many sub-par jokes and overall seems a little dull to me.

If you’re excited for the film, I would suggest skipping this trailer and just pretending like it didn’t happen. There will be others, don’t worry!

If you dare, check out Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, Anna Friel, and Jorma Taccone in the second Land of the Lost trailer…

So for those of you who did NOT listen to my advice, what do you think? Does the trailer reveal to much? Do you like it as much as the Superbowl or teaser trailer?

On his latest expedition, Dr. Rick Marshall (Ferrell) is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant (Friel) and a redneck survivalist (McBride). In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka (Taccone), their only ally in a world full of dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures. Can they all make it back to our world alive, and if so: Will Dr. Marshall can go from zero to hero with his discoveries?

The film will be in theaters on June 5th, 2009.
