Don Johnson to Direct Porn

I’m sure the title of this article caught your attention and disturbed you all at the same time. I know it’s scary but it’s the truth. According to THR, Don Johnson will star as a porn director in his next film. Adam Sandler is producing a porn centered comedy called Born to Be a Star. Johnson has joined the cast which already includes Nick Swardson as the lead, Christina Ricci, and Stephen Dorff.

Born to Be a Star, is the story of a man (Swardson) who moves to Hollywood to pursue a career in porn. He comes to this realization after he finds out that his parents were highly successful in the genre during  the 1970′s. Ricci will star as his innocent girlfriend, while Dorff will play a popular porn star by the name of Dick Shadow. Johnson will star as the director that gives Swardson his big break.

This movie had me at “Dick Shadow.” I love Stephen Dorff and I’m so happy to see him featured in more projects. Don Johnson being involved is just hilarious. I keep imagining him dressed as Sonny from Miami Vice, in an ice cream colored suit and no socks. Is that bad? Born to Be a Star is set for release next year, but an exact date hasn’t been set yet.
