First Russell Crowe Photo as Robin Hood

Finally after months of speculation surrounding Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood epic, we’ve got a photo! It features Russell Crowe (above) as the title character, and he’s looking svelte as ever. There was such a debate regarding whether or not Crowe would be physically fit enough to play the hero role. Yet, Scott himself declared that he would be in shape and more than ready when they began filming. True to his word we’ve got our first glimpse of Crowe looking similar to the way he did in his Gladiator days, hair cut and all.

Judging from this photo he’s got the look down to a science. I take it that he shot State of Play long before filming began on this one.
