With May being the kick off month for summer blockbuster season, we have been getting overwhelmed with promotional images from various films. With Wolverine, Star Trek, and Terminator Salvation all opening next month, a tent pole film will be hitting the theater every weekend. Yesterday, we showed you new images from X-Men Origins Wolverine, and today a new poster for Terminator Salvation has surfaced. It features Christian Bale and Sam Worthington and it’s all about the face!

Check out the full length poster after the jump.

I like it. It kind of reminds me of the old poster for T2 with the split face, except in this case you have two. Notice at the bottom of the poster there’s still no rating for the film. McG has been campaigning for an R, but Warner Brothers wants it to be PG-13. With the movie’s opening date fast approaching the MPAA better make up their minds. The first three films were all rated R and were pretty successful, but WB wants more money. I don’t know what they’re trying to prove by setting it a part like this. I want my Terminator action not some watered down tripe!

What do you think of the latest poster? Do you think the film should be rated R like it’s predecessors?
