A new poster has been released over at Yahoo! Movies for Spike Jonze’s live action adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are. Last month we brought you the trailer which was visually stunning, and now we have this new photo. Jonze is really taking me back to my childhood with this film. I would have never envisioned the creatures of the wilderness to look like this.

Where the Wild Things Are is set for release on October 16 and stars Catherine Keener, Max Records, and Forest Whitaker.
