Robert Downey Jr Dishes on Iron Man 2 and Scarlett Johannson

Actor Robert Downey Jr. recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight while promoting his latest film The Soloist. During the interview he opened up about next summer’s Iron Man 2, and his co-star Scarlett Johannson. Coming off of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes flick, the actor realized his physique had to change drastically. He had to get back into superhero shape and fast. “I’m on Beefcake Charlie status,” he jokes. I’ve got to not be the skinny Brit anymore. I have to be the Tony that you know and may have loved.” Don’t you love a man with a sense of humor?

Scarlett Johannson’s “lean and mean?” I need pictures. I can’t imagine her buff. I’ll believe it when I see it. It’s going to take a lot more than that to convince me that she’s right for the part of Black Widow.
