ShoWest: Sony to Make Another Men in Black Film
Out of all the presentations I think this one probably has been the most impressive. They just screened some never before seen clips from District 9, Angels and Demons, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 and more. There will be more on that in an upcoming post. But! He the President of Sony, Rory Bruer, also announced that they have green lit Spider-Man 4 for 2011, Ghostbusters, and (drum roll please) another Men in Black film.
Where did that one come from? I thought they were done with that series? It certainly feels done. He did not mention who would be returning to the cast. We know that Sony loves Will Smith, but would Tommy Lee Jones return? I can’t imagine he would unless he’s in need of a payday, which I HIGHLY doubt he is. And would the film be worth watching with the duo? The two actors work so well with one another. In fact, that is why the movie worked so well in the first place! That’s why they had to get him back in the second one!
