Where the Wild Things Are Poster

This is such a great book, I can’t wait for it to be adapted into a film. It’s one of the few books that is well suited for the screen. It has strong characters, the potential for stunning visuals, appeals to the youngsters, and yet has plenty for adults to enjoy. Over at FirstShowing.net they’ve found a copy of the latest poster from the Spike Jonze Fan Blog and it’s really nicely done. The rumor is, that the trailer for the film will be run in front of Monsters vs. Aliens which is set to be released on March 27th, but nothing had been confirmed.

I like this poster. It appeals to kids and yet also strikes a chord in everyone who read the book when they were a child.
