Look who is being a well behaved actor and preparing for his role… Last week Mickey Rourke was in Russia for the premiere of The Wrestler and decided to do a little research. According to IESB “He spent three hours in a Russian jail,” apparently touching the sheets and taking in the jail-sunshine to prepare for his evil villain role as the Russian criminal Whiplash in Iron Man 2.

If he wore a ponytail and beige sunglasses in an actual prison he would be someone’s bitch SOOO fast. Good thing he’s just researching!

It's good that they take these roles seriously, because the more serious you take an especially imaginative role, the more real the role becomes, even if it is a guy who wears an suit of armor powered by his nuclear heart.
