New Photos From Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland

I never thought I’d say this but I found some nice photos and concept art from Tim Burton’s latest film via a Disney magazine. In the March 10th issue of the quarterly publication Disney Twenty-Three!, there is an editorial on Burton written by Mark Salisbury (editor of the book Burton on Burton). The article gives a nice synopsis of the Gothic director’s career, and is accompanied by some never before seen images from his upcoming Alice in Wonderland. The photos include a nice shot of actress Mia Wasikowska (Alice) as she stares down the infamous rabbit hole (above).

Will this movie just come out already? It looks like Burton is creating a visual masterpiece that will be unique to his style. I don’t know about you. but I’m ready for more!
What do you think of Tim Burton’s vision for Alice in Wonderland?

It would be cool if he make a dark and creepy version to this movie.

Burton would be a good match with many fairy tales because he can play with the darker themes with his set and costume design. Alice in Wonderland is perfect for his style.

I am sooooo excited about this movie! This has always been my favorite, even as a little girl I loved the twisted nonsence crazyness of it all. It was different and I loved it. Then Beetlejuice came out and I LOVED it too! Tim Burton has been my favorite ever since! This movie is going to be AWESOME! I cant wait to see how evil and crazy it gets with his darkness on top of all the colorful wackyness this movie is known for!
