Johnny Depp In Remake of Alice in Wonderland
By Kara
Well, it’s true. The above picture of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton‘s remake of Alice in Wonderland is not a fake. Here at ScreenCrave we posted the picture of the rumored Mad Hatter costume a while back, and all you skeptics can now be assured that it was real! How awesome is that? The costume is a little out there; a tad different from the first Disney cartoon, eh?
The executives at Disney were treated, on Tuesday, to a montage of Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Depp’s character was described as having a “Victorian top hat, crimped hair that sticks straight out, and swirl of brightly colored make-up on his eyes, cheeks and lips that resembled the blur of a pinwheel blowing in the breeze.” That previous description seems to fit the picture shown above.
Disney is waiting to officially unveil the shots of the Alice in Wonderland remake for their upcoming issue of the Disney Twenty-Three magazine.
Are you excited for the remake? Are you going to buy Disney’s Twenty-Three magazine to see the pictures? What do you think of the costume?
