Megan Fox definitely knows how to appeal to her fan base by setting herself to appear in two comic-based movies. Fox is in the final stage of negotiations to appear in the Western based comic Jonah Hex, along with Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men) and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich). Fox will star as Leila, the love interest of Brolin, and the beautiful bounty hunter on the search for a voodoo master, John Malkovich. Leila’s mission is to capture Malkovich, who is attempting to create an army of zombies to liberate the South. Jonah Hex is scheduled to begin filming in April.
Fox is also in negotiations to appear in and develop Fathom, a comic based in an underwater seascape. The comic was written by the late Michael Turner. Fox has been a fan of the comic since its creation in 1998. Fox is set to play Aspen, a woman who realizes she is part of an aquatic species who possess the ability to control water. The adaption of the comic onto the silver screen is helmed by Jordan Mechner, the creator of popular video game The Prince of Persia. The film’s producers are Peter Safran, Steve Bessen, and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles actor Brian Austin Green.
Fox has appeared in the blockbuster hit Transformers, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, and is set to appear in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
