Warner Brothers Studio has decided to fill us in on their upcoming film slate for 2009 and beyond. There’s been a lot of rumors and speculation about certain projects especially anything comic book or Harry Potter related. Staying steady with their DC Comic adaptations, the first feature length Green Lantern film has finally gotten a release date. Lantern will be coming to a theater near you on December 17,2010. I was seeing this as more of a summer blockbuster, but I guess their gunning for the Christmas bucks. Check out more release dates, including Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes after the jump.

The final film in the Harry Potter franchise entitled, The Deathly Hallows:Part Two has been circling a release date for the summer of 2011. Die hard fans can rest knowing that a date has been announced and it’s set for July 15, 2011. So yeah, Potter fans the end is near. On another note, Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes has been moved from it’s original date of November 13,2009 to December 25,2009, Christmas day. I wonder what that move was all about?

The Louis Letterier remake of Clash of the Titans, yes that movie is actually happening, will hit theaters on March 26, 2010. Christopher Nolan’s science-fiction film Inception is set for July 16, 2010, while the DC Comic adaptation Jonah Hex will bow on August 6, 2010.  Director Zack Snyder will follow up Watchmen with his all girls ensemble Sucker Punch, which we can see on October 8, 2010.

I know its a lot to take in, but I’m personally gunning for the Green Lantern movie. I love that comic! A
