And after that was Apollo and Midnight who are married and have an adopted daughter. We probably shouldn't forget Hulking or Wiccan, or the Rawhide kid. So Marvel was definatly representing the gay comunity way before Catwoman. DC did have Renee Montoya, a Gotham cop that was outed by two face came into her own recenlty in 2003.
