		<description>Actually Batwoman isn&#039;t the first, Northstar of the X men was. And after that was Apollo and Midnight who are married and have an adopted daughter. We probably shouldn&#039;t forget Hulking or Wiccan, or the Rawhide kid. So Marvel was definatly representing the gay comunity way before Catwoman.  
DC did have Renee Montoya, a Gotham cop that was outed by two face came into her own recenlty in 2003. </description>
