Inglourious Basterds Teaser Trailer
By Mali Elfman
Wow. It’s like Tarantino needed an excuse to be as cruel as possible to someone who really existed. So he went after the Nazis. Good call!
Tarantino is not wasting any time with this film. It seems like they announced it, hired every single actor they could, released a few photos, wrapped it, and started pumping out material as quickly as possible. The way it should be. Only three weeks are wrapping we get an amazing Inglourious Basterds teaser trailer and it does NOT disappoint. Check it out below the jump…
The official synopsis according to IMDB (although it looks pretty clear from Brad Pitt‘s monologue) is as follows:
In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.
The movie will hit theaters August 21st.
