I don't think he needed too, since it was none of our business at all, but I'm happy he got that out of the way so people could feel better about things that they weren't involved in. Am I surprised he's a serious actor? No. Does this make not want to see the movie? No, the lackluster advertising has done that already. Does it excuse his behavior? Yes, he's an adult with a job and thoughts running through his mind (most of them beginning or ending with a bad word) and he apologized. Does this mean I won't see any more of his movies? No, but me and him are done, man, professionally. I'm glad he apologized.
