  • Australian actress Teresa Palmer (The Grudge 2, Bedtime Stories) has been cast in The Sorcerers Apprentice. She”ll co-star alongside Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel in the fantasy film, based on the Mickey Mouse story from the Disney classic, Fantasia. [Cinematical]

  • Terminator vs. Transformers? Director Michael Bay went to his official website to let fans and filmmakers know that Transformers is in a league of its own. “We’ve seen the great year end movies, and watched the upcoming clips of the upcoming summer fare.   • The Mike Tyson documentary simply titled, Tyson, has gotten picked up by Sony Pictures Classics for distribution. The film already premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, and will make its North American debut at this year’s Sundance.
