Win Autographed Copies of James Lipton’s “Inside, Inside”
By Mali Elfman
We all know the dry wit, the dramatic pauses, and the in depth questions of James Lipton. The Actor’s Studio has long been one of the highlights for actors careers. In fact one knows they have “made it” when Lipton asks them to grace his chair. Not long ago Lipton released his latest book “Inside Inside,” about all his experiences on the show. The book is like a backstage pass to some of your favorite interviews including Harrison Ford, Johnny Depp, Clint Eastwood, Meryl Streep, Al Pacino and many more.
In honor of the most recent upcoming Actors Studio with Josh Brolin (on Bravo January 5th), we’re giving away three copies of “Inside Inside” autographed by James Lipton himself!
All you have to do to win is…
Leave a comment below stating your favorite Lipton interview and why, and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win! All entrees must be received by January 8th at noon and the winner will be announced on January 9th! That’s it!
Check out a sneak peek of Josh Brolin in his upcoming appearance on the Actors Studio…

My Favorite Interview was James and Robin Williams. James was able to get both the private side and the funny side of Mr. Williams in a way no other interviewer has been able to capture. Most excellent!

A few years ago, a friend of mine was working on his advertising demo reel and wanted some ideas on how to connect his work together in a common theme. I suggested he edit himself into Inside the Actor's Studio with James Lipton. He did. It was kinda funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKyi_j_lL74

I loved the Natalie Portman interview. I loved her insights on "The Professional" and, if nothing else, hearing her say her favrotie curse word was, translated, "Your mother's vagina" is pretty classic…and sexy.

My favorite Lipton moment was when he appeared on the French show with Bernard Pivot and he himself answered the famed Proust questionnaire. I LOVE James' response to "If heaven exists…" and he said "James, you are wrong…I do exist".

My favorite interview was Lipton's interview with Dave Chappelle. Within that interview you get both sides of Chappelle, the genius comic and the thoughtful satirist. Plus Lipton interviews 'Clayton Bigsby' as well.
