Simple. Clear and to the point. Pretty threatening I guess. Anyone else a little bored? I like the other ones better.

I know you’re all going to see Transporter 3, but please, at least think about the option of seeing a quality film? Milk or Australia are both great picks for this weekend. They’re funny, interesting, and overall great pieces of work. Or if you have to, see Four Christmases, which is it just has a bunch of great faces showing up and not doing what you know they can do. It won’t be as good as you’re hoping it might be. You have two great films, give them a shot! Transporter 3 will be on DVD before you know it!

Baz Luhrmann knows how to tell a story. Through song, through Shakespeare, through any means possible, he knows how to make a film like no one else. Australia is beautiful in every way that it possibly can be. From the wide-shots of the rolling hills and the barren deserts to the galloping herd shots that will blow your mind. The story itself can be described as no less than an epic. It has drama, comedy, action, adventure, the whole lot. I think no matter who you are there is something to enjoy.

A while ago rumors were spread that Josh Brolin was supposed to be in The Terminator instead along with Christian Bale in Terminator Salvation. Most of the rumors dissipated as when Christian Bale signed on and they started filming with Brolin. But apparently there was some truth to the rumors as Brolin tells MTV he was up for the role.
“Yeah. I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple hours,” Brolin told MTV. “I really liked the script though I hear that’s not what they filmed. The one I read was very interesting and dark. Ultimately though I didn’t think it felt right.”

Prop 8, isn’t going away and in Hollywood is, people are starting to lose their jobs or leave their jobs over the matter. Today, Richard Raddon, has resigned his position as the director of the Los Angeles Film Fest due to his religion and his $1,500 donation to Yes on 8. He recently made a statement that completely contradicts his actions.
I feel honored to have worked with such a wonderful group of people at the Los Angeles Film Festival over the last nine years. I am proud of our accomplishments. And I am proud to have worked at Film Independent, an organization whose principles and values of diversity and artistic integrity I cherish. I have always held the belief that all people, no matter race, religion, or sexual orientation, are entitled to equal rights. As many know, I consider myself a devout and faithful Mormon. I prefer to keep the details around my contribution through my church a private matter. But I am profoundly sorry for the negative attention that my actions have drawn to Film Independent and for the hurt and pain that is being experienced in the GLBT community.

I got to sit down with Hugh Jackman the day after he was named “The Sexiest Man of the Year” by People Magazine to talk about his upcoming role in Baz Luhrmann‘s epic Australia, coming to theaters today (November 26th). It’s a hard job, but I was more than happy to do it.
Jackman seemed if anything a touch embarrassed about his “sexiest” man title, but was more than willing to joke around on a variety of different topics including his looks.
Hugh talked about how becoming a father has changed his outlook on his work and home life, fainting on a horse during the first day of filming Australia, kissing his good friend Nicole Kidman and working on his upcoming film, Wolverine.

I don’t know exactly where Liam Neeson‘s been hiding for the past couple of years, but he’s finally made his his way back to the big screen. He stars in the new suspense thriller entitled, Taken. No, I’m not referring to the 2002 made for television mini-series Taken, by Steven Spielberg. I’m talking about Pierre Morel’s theatrical film that focuses on the always uncomfortable subject of human trafficking.
More on Taken when you continue.

Robert Downey Jr, or as I like to affectionately call him, RDJ recently sat down with MTV and discussed the much anticipated Marvel team up movie, The Avengers. Knowing the responsibility that comes along with portraying Tony Stark/Iron Man, Downey acknowledges that everyone involved with this project has their work cut out for them.
“If we don’t get it right it’s really, really going to suck,” said Downey. “It has to be the crowning blow of Marvel’s best and brightest because it’s the hardest thing to get right. It’s tough to spin all the plates for one of these characters.”
More of the interview after the jump.
