Rickman Get’s Animated in ‘Alice in Wonderland’

Award winning actor Alan Rickman, recently gave an interview to MoviesOnline, and spoke about his part in Tim Burton’s rendition of the classic children’s story,  Alice in Wonderland. Rickman will play the Caterpillar, a character that will be rendered partly by animation.

The movie is a mixture of live action, animation, and stop motion, so it’s very complicated and I don’t think all three have been put together ever before.

This cast is a dream come true for me! First, Johnny Depp, then Anne Hathaway and Crispin Glover, and now Alan Rickman. This talent pool of actors, the stop-motion animation, and Tim Burtons “doom and gloom” visuals sound like a match made in movie heaven!
