NEWS: Punisher Ray Stevenson Joins ‘Eli’

As we reported last month, Denzel Washington and That ’70′s Show alum Mila Kunis are set to co-star in the drama, Book of Eli. The cast will be getting a lot darker, as the Punisher himself, Ray Stevenson has signed on to join the film. According to Variety, Stevenson will not be playing a good guy. No surprise there.

Stevenson will play an enforcer dispatched to kill Eli (Washington) as he fights his way across the American wasteland, protecting a sacred book that may hold the key to saving humanity.
Poor Eli, he just wants everyone to live! Book of Eli, is set for release on January 15, 2010. The film is directed by Albert and Allen Hughes, and co-stars Gary Oldman.
