NEWS: Kidman Quits the Biz

Looks like one of the bigger careers of a big name Hollywood actress may be coming to an end. That is if you believe her. Nicole Kidman, former Oscar winner, hinted that she may be planning to retire from the movie industry to take time to raise her family. Recently, at the down under premiere of her new film Australia, Kidman talked about her desire to concentrate more on her growing her family.

“I am in a place in my life where…I’ve had some great opportunities, and I may just choose to have some more children.”

Although that doesn’t seem to be the only reason but Kidman’s sudden decision.

“I’ve no idea what is in my future, but I am very at peace with where I want to be,” she said. “There are many things I want to do besides act.”

Kidman has three children, two which were adopted while she was with former hubby Tom Cruise, and the other with now husband Keith Urban. Their first daughter Sunday Rose was born in July.

She will be working on at least one more project, she signed on to produce and star in the adaptation of The Danish Girl, in which she will play the world’s first post-op transsexual male. Charlize Theron plays her wife.
