Weekend Box Office: High School Musicals Kills Sav V and Max Payne
Even though High School Musical 3 kicked Saw V and Max Payne’s ass, it did manage to knock Beverly Hills Chihuahua off it’s pedestal. I guess there’s only room for one cute, cuddly, kids movie at a time. There are also a couple of movie that haven’t achieved what many I’m sure hoped for. It has taken Eagle Eye five weeks to ALMOST make back what they spent. Pride and Glory in it’s first weekend, it’s biggest weekend, only made 20% of it’s money back. And as for Body of Lies, after 3 weeks they’ve made back less than a third of what they spent. Ouch. Someone is not happy right now!
Here is this weeks weekend box office numbers with the weekend gross, gross per theater, total gross and the cost it took to make the sucker… Enjoy!
