It’s sad. Thanksgiving is right around the corner and there is no Harry Potter to show for it. Looks like they’ll just have to make it up to us by making Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince that much better. After checking out the new trailer they have just released, all I have to say is, wow. Director David Yates (who did Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and will also be doing the next part of the series Deathly Hallows) seems to have done a great job with the visuals, the tone, and overall Potter-ness. Looks like there is plenty to keep you excited until July 2009 when the film will be released.

Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think!

Check out a bunch of new photos from the film and the-leaky-cauldron.org

I saw the movie last night and it wasnt very good. all they did was focus on the romance and on humor. it had absolutley nothing to do with the half-blood prince at all.

I would have to agree with the previous comment….I would have rather sit through four or five hours of this film compared to what they put out…As a potter fan this movie was absolutely the worst yet…I cannot fathom how they changed it so much and how they destroyed the storyline from the book…How are they going to explain all the stuff in the borroughs from the next book in the next movie? unreal….they should have taken the last 6 months to try to follow the book a lot closer…If they do the last two movies as bad as they did this one…I believe they will ruin the series and it will be one of the biggest box office flops of all time…
