Photos of the New Star Trek Movie

There’s a whole new Star Trek coming your way. Complete with an all star cast including Chris Pine as Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Eric Bana as Nero, Simon Pegg as Scotty, Winona Ryder as Amanda Grayson, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura, John Cho as Sulu, Anton Yelchin as Chekov and many more. Many people wondered what Director J.J. Abrams had up his sleeve with the new Star Trek. For the first time photos from the movie have been released in a spread done by Entertainment Weekly. Check out the new Kirk ready for action, Eric Vana as Neri, and Zachery Quinto strangling some poor dude below.

This cast is perfect to bring in new fans. Personally though I hope it’s not taken too seriously (although it should be fairly serious) but that there’s a little bit of the pulpy sci-fi vibe that the old Star Trek was swamped in.
